ABOUT DR. LUCA CALDIRONI
—
The K-Now-L-Edge Project was founded by Dr. Luca Caldironi, a clinical psychiatrist and member of the Italian Society of Psychoanalysis (SPI), as well as APsaA, CIPS, and IPA. He is also a member of the Psychodynamic Psychoanalytic Research Society (PPRS), through which he has been involved in extensive research and supervision in the field of applied psychoanalysis, with a particular interest in the processing of traumatic experience. He is a professor at the Martha Harris School of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in Bologna, Italy, and a lecturer at the Linz University of Arts in Austria. He was also a lecturer at the University of Padova (FISPPA).
Luca’s numerous publications and presentations reflect an emphasis on Bionian thought, particularly in relation to creativity. He founded K-Now-L-Edge as a space devoted to the study of creativity, where art and psychoanalysis engage in an ongoing dialogue. He incorporates this research into his work as the founder and director of Castello 925, an art gallery and cultural nonprofit in Venice. He also maintains a private practice in Modena and Venice.
